On Thursday, September 5th, 2025, a buyer at Los Angeles, California, wins the Darth Vader lightsaber at an auction. This piece of Star Wars memorabilia was used by Darth Vader in The Empire Stikes Back and The Return of the Jedi. It was estimated to go for one to three million dollars, but it sold for three-point-six million dollars instead after a total of thirty-one bids.
