Math Contests

COMC

COMC, or Canadian Open Math Contest, is a contest that focuses on grade 10-12 math. Winners of this contest will allow the student to progress to CMO, or Canadian Math Olympiad. Winners of the CMO will move onto the IMO, or the International Math Olymiad. This contest is difficult, with questions that include: advanced linear equations, probabilities, and advanced algebra.

CLMC

The CLMC, or Canadian Lynx Math Contest, is a math contest for grades 7-11. Winners of this math contest recieve medals. Questions in this contest include: questions on triangles, logical thinking, and percentages.  

Waterloo Contests

The Waterloo contests are a series of contests held by the University of Waterloo. These include: the gauss contest for grade 8s, the pascal contest for grade 9s, the cayley contest for grade 10s, the fermat contest for grade 11s, and the euclid contest for grade 12s. Winners will be able to recieve up to 200 dollars in cash prizes.
