Math 8
In this subject grade, students will learn perfect squares and perfect cubes while also learning how to square and cube root numbers. In addition to this, students will also learn about percentages and the pythagorean theorem.
Math 9
In grade 9 math, students will learn about polynomials, linear relations, and exponent laws. In particular, linear relations sets the basis for higher grade math such as Pre-Calculus 11, Pre-Calcuus 12, and AP Calculus 12. Students will also learn about basic statistics and financial literacy.
Foundations Math 10
In grade 10 math, students will learn about linear systems, linear functions, and factoring of polynomials. Students will also learna about trigonometry and have great understandings of prime factorization. This course serves as the preparation to Pre-Calculus 11, showing students the base of Calculus.
Introduction to Math

Calculus

Pre-Calculus 11
In pre-calc 11, students will dive deeper into trigonometry while also learning about quadratic functions. Radicals are also a very large part of the pre-calc 11 course. Pre-Calculus 11 offers the foundation of pre-calc 12, with many subjects in pre-calc 11 being a basis of pre-calc 12 subjects.
Pre-Calculus 12
In pre-calc 12, students will learn about the transformations, exponents, and geometrics of functions and relations. Students will also learn about different trigonometric functions, equations, and identities. Additionally, logarithms are introduced into math, with students learning about the operations, functions, and sequences of logarithms.
AP Calculus 12
In AP calc 12, students will take a university level course where students will learn about limits, continuity, differentiation, and integration. This course serves as an extra boost for advanced students looking to go into math in university.
