English Literature Interview with Ms. Morit

I think the best thing about English is that people all have different opinions on topics and the discussion part of conversations is also very interesting.

To me, I think the hardest part of the English subject is the grammar topic, since there are many rules that students need to follow. For my class, if students talk about the topic a lot, then I think they will get a good mark.

In my class, a typical lesson would consist of learning about technique and how to anaylze pieces of literature.

For high school, some books I would recommend would be at least one classic novel, like the works of Shakespeare. For newer books, I would recommend some dystopian novels.

To me, English is really important because we use it everyday! Even after high school in post-secondary, students must learn to commmunicate properly using English. The reason why English is taught in so many countries is because the English-speaking nations colonized so many countries back then.

I talked about this before, but English has a really big advantage over other languages since so many people speak it, so it is very easy to communicate with others.

If a person is learning English as their second or third language, I think it is very difficult since there are so many rules you have to follow so you have to memorize all of them.

To me, getting better at English involves two things: reading more, and writing more. If students can do some of this everyday, then they can improve their English skills easily.
